Today is day three of our week-long bachelor pad living room make over.
Lighting is such an important part of a comfortable space, so for the overhead lighting, the perfect piece is the “Lattice” pendant chandelier by contemporary designer David Wiseman. I love its visual aesthetic … and it echoes the geometric lines of the sofa and tables chosen earlier in the week for the room (from R20th Century via 1stdibs.com).
In a room with bold pieces, I prefer the floor lamps do not compete for attention with any of the other pieces in the room. At the same time, they have to be hip and so I’ve selected a pair of elegant Italian 1950s brass and black, pivoting arm, lacquer floor lamps from Eccola via 1stdibs.com
Crossing my fingers the room turns out FAB!
