Isn’tĀ this a beautiful piece of furniture?Ā I recently was shopping for a mid-century console and found myself rightfully distracted by this lovely piece produced in the studio of American cabinetmaker Matt Soorikian of Atlanta, Georgia.Ā You HAVE to see it in person.Ā The surface is lusciously soft, a testament to the time and dedication each piece gets from Matt.Ā The geometric matrix at the front is perfectly fitted and so it is the sum of all the exquisite details that gives this console its āpopā.
Made of American black walnut and reinforced white resin (the front matrix), the Contrafact Console measures 84.1/2 in. | 214.5 cm. (long) and can be made 25.3/8 | 65.3 cm. or 30 in. | 76.2 cm. (tall) and is also available with two leg configurations. Iām sure Matt would gladly make a smaller version if need be.
