Jensen’s Pyramid

Good news from Georg Jensen, one of my favorite 20th century silversmiths.

Their classic Pyramid pattern flatware is now available in stainless steel (although you can still get it in sterling).  I dig this pattern that harkens back to 1926 when Egypt-o-mania swept Europe after the 1922 discovery of King Tut’s tomb and treasures.  This flatware also screams Art Deco, which you know I’m partial to as well.
The great thing about owning this pattern in stainless is that now you don’t have to save it for formal dining!  For under $150 you can get a five-piece place setting for daily use and you can even put it into the dishwasher at the end of a meal.  It’s an amazing way to add a little bit of modern and practical chic to your everyday table.
