Last night I had dinner at a friend’s home in Brooklyn.  Over the table, there were 2 Heracleum pendants designed by Bertjan Pot and Marcel Wanders for Moooi.  I had seen these in magazines, but never “live” and I found them to be MORE beautiful in person than what I had imagined.

The lights are LED and the body comes in nickel or copper.  At night they glimmer as the light reflects off the leaves for a wonderful effect.  Inspired by the plant of the same name, this pendant is def one to consider in more whimsical projects.
