inspired by nature

I get much of my inspiration from nature.  And its not only about the colors – their intensity, hue, saturation, combination – but about the shapes, sizes, forms, compositions, textures, proportions and even the mood of what’s in front of me AND the mood it puts me in.  And the inspiration can be for the color of a certain wall, or a fabric texture for a particular settee or even the design of the doors for a sideboard cabinet.  Here are a handful of images from nature that inspire me:
