hanging in there

I was recently doing some research into suspended furniture and I ran across this fun and fabulous contemporary chair from Finland.

The Jiella Chair was designed in 2008 by the well-regarded contemporary Finnish interior and product designer Samuli Naamanka for Habitek .  His flying spherical cocoon is made of pressed birch plywood and the surface can be ordered in veneers of ash, oak, beech and walnut. Such a playful addition to any room!
