One of my potential clients in Istanbul (you know who you are!) turned me on to this chair by the Turkish-born, New York design super-couple of Ayse Birsel and Bibi Seck who together design extraordinary pieces for some of the best known furniture companies in the world.  The playful Madame Dakar love seat (pictured above) was designed for the Italian firm Moroso.

Wow… what a beauty!  African inspired, one part oversized armchair and another part hammock and looking like a gynormous butterfly, the piece is perfect for snuggling with your favorite person, book or pet.  I cannot vouch for its comfort as I have not tried it myself, but it looks awfully agreeable.
