In my time blogging, my readers have sent me so many interesting and over-the-top interior design and art related material that I’ve decided to feature and sprinkle some of them throughout the year under the title “Verklempted”.  Neither good nor bad, these products serve a unique niche and have a good market somewhere in the world.

If there is anything I’ve learned in design, it’s that taste is a personal opinion … it’s neither right nor wrong.  That, however, does not mean that one has to subscribe to it.

This only emphasizes the notion that even though we may think that commercially we’re becoming one huge blob, we’re still eons from being aesthetically the same … and in my book, that is (mostly) a good thing!
