Alain Berteau is a young Belgian designer whose work is about reinventing old typologies in everyday objects through critical observation of function and “looks” and adding 21^st century versatility.  He has been particularly successful with his simple-lined, practical and comfortable “Play” Chair designed for the Belgian company Wildspirit.

These contemporary and elegant stackable chairs come in walnut or oak and in a handful of delicious buttery leathers.  They measure approximately 18L x 19D x 27H in. | 48L x 50D x 70H cm. I truly love these chairs, equally in place in a handsome modern/contemporary interior or as a punch of the 21^st century in a more traditional space.
