One can almost always tell a Californian interior designer. Regardless of their style, there is an underlying casualness and relaxed sophistication to many of their spaces which I like to emulate. Amongst my favorites is this bedroom and bathroom in a Beverly Hills home designed by Jeff Andrews. How beautiful is this?
Tending more towards a masculine space, the colors, finishes, angles and proportions are simply exceptional. I particularly like the attention to detail. Each tiny sculpture in the bedroom is perfectly placed and works together as a group to avoid a feeling of clutter. The organic tree branch and the dichromatic fur elegantly break the monochromatic tones of the room creating the perfect harmonious space. And as for the bathroom … I could live in it! Again the selection of colors and materials are the work of a true professional with overflowing talent which should not be taken for granted. Bravo Jeff!
